We have the dream of migrating from the concrete cages called cities, towards unity with our brothers of the Earth and form a community. We are people that grew in a capitalist society and we are brothers and sisters that wish to awake from the consuming necessity and the separation that characterizes our culture. We humbly come to learn how to live from what the planet gives us first hand and teach our brothers from the Earth to interact in a healthy way with a globalize society in order for all of us to develop a family.

We are aware that we have lived a long time putting our attention to the exterior and we recognize the need to go back to the interior to find what we are as human beings. We believe we are ready to let go from our dramas and other egocentric limitations. We want to actively immerse in the community that we dreamt of and that now is manifesting.

We believe we are making a great team between the people from the Earth and us the migrating city people as we are knowing more about us. We we see ourselves from the perspective of people so different to us and of great value, we can reinvent ourselves daily and become better people… which is our only purpose to be together and it will be beautiful to reencounter with you in the path… join the ecovillagers.

Residents

They are permanent members of the community that live longer in the ecovillage and count with an active role in the activities.

With more than 10 years of commercial experience in the production and sale of incense in the USA, Marcos provides a guarantee of knowledge in managing such market, the sales, direction and administration.

He also spent 15 years in India preparing spiritually, technically and practically to become a Yoga master, giving the opportunity to all the ecovillagers to be in touch with our inner being and our external life.

He has knowledge in construction, communal interaction and as a Shaman. Marcos is co-founder of ecovillandanda…. Through a process of more than two decades he achieved in transmitting to the people of the Earth, that one day people from the city would arrive to work with them as a consecuence of the damage we caused on the planet.

If it wasn´t for his effort, we would have found with a group of indigenous people with very closed belief systems and unwilling to people from the city like us. Thanks to Marcos effort, he obtained the trust of our brothers and formed the solid bases of our family.

Along with Lupe he practiced shamanism and interchanged Hindu, Zapotec and Hiuchol healing methods. It is worth mentioning that part of Marco´s spiritual influence was provided by a Huichol shaman when he was 19 years old and spent four years living with them.

She arrived to ecovillananda by synchrony and she felt in love with the project. She is currently living in the community indefinitely and she has plans to be involved in the activities and contribute in any way. She would like to learn shamanism and she is working on that.

Osvaldo:

He is in charge of the public relations. He has over 7 years experience in sales. He takes care of doing contacts, build negotiations and establish commercial relations with the exterior of the ecovillage. Besides of being the one who represents Ecovillananda SC de Rl de CV legally, he is in charge of the image of the community through publicity, web and word of mouth. He currently lives in Puerto Escondido Oaxaca. He also has studies in numerology, science that studies the energies of numbers, which helps to better take advantage of common potentials. In April 2008 he started writing the “Ecovillagers Call” which has enhanced the synchronicities for this project to become a reality. His dream in the near future is to permanently live in the ecovillage and he works every day to achieve that. His is a spiritual coach and teaches about the path to unity.

Temporal Residents

They are members that take part in the decisions and projects of the ecovillage but that don´t currently live permanently in Ecovillananda. Mainly they are collaborators in sales, public relations, logistics and the development of our community.

She is Marcos ´daughter. She studies music in Oaxaca City. She is the youngest of our temporal residents, she is 15 years old and she is co-founder of Ecovillananda. She lived in the USA for most of her childhood and she has the dream of living in the ecovillage permanently. Her spirit is very deep and special because it remind us all of the soberness of a mature woman through the innocence in the eyes of a girl her age.  She has a house in the town of San Sebastian where are located the cabins for visitors. She enjoys pastry making and surely she will makes us all happy with her violin music.

Lluvia and Oziel :

She is Marcos´eldest daughter and her husband is from Mexico City. They are a young couple aware of the need to go back to the Earth with unity and give her baby, Padme, the opportunity to grow in a environment of freedom. They currently live in Puerto Angel Oaxaca, where they run a business of accommodation and they also distribute the incense that is created in the ecovillage. They would like to have their house in the community and be living there in the near future.

Oziel has technical knowledge in environmental engineering and bioconstruction, that are vital for the future expansion of the ecovillage. These kind of young couples are proudly the basis of our community. They both have knowledge in Yoga, that they have used in order to live in unity and transmit that to others.

Osvaldo´s older brother. He is also experienced in sales, languages and public relations from over 10 years. His contribution involves the translation into English of our web page and also international negotiations. He currently lives in Puerto Escondido Oaxaca and would like to create a space of freedom and fulfillment both in the coast as well as in the ecovillage, achieving a balanced fusion of technological advances with simple living. His girlfriend Kim agrees on the need to change our consciousness to unity and from England she comes to Mexico to join him and our project. She is a psychiatric nurse by profession, but also has studies on reflexology and reiki healing, and we are certain that her involvement and contribution will be of great help in the community.

She studies in India and has a cabin in Ecovillananda. She visits now and then and she plans to retire in the ecovillage in the coming years.
